With temperatures inching higher, it’s time to decide if the Halston-esque floor-sweeping gown will yet again stage a comeback in your closet. (Vertically challenged girls, we’re not talking to you. The spring runways offer only mixed results, with a sprinkling of maxi dresses – like Diane von Furstenberg’s sassy floral print – amidst a wave of flirtatiously high hemlines. But stores like Topshop and Forever 21 are packing their racks with longer options, probably in hopes that this trend stays at the top of your list.
