What’s not to love about Valentine’s Day? It’s the one time during the year when you're not looked down upon if you eat as much chocolate as you please. You can get away with writing sappy love letters to the one person you can’t stop thinking about, and red roses are everywhere. It’s quite nice, if you ask me. However, this coming February, get ready to see what the 14th is like from a whole new light, as heartthrob Taylor Lautner and country sensation Taylor Swift show how the pressures from the celebrated holiday affects their on-screen relationship. The twosome co-star alongside many other big-name celebrities in the up-and-coming film, Valentine’s Day, which is sure to be filled with lots of drama as the story line centers around the act of breaking-up and making-up between five intertwined couples in L.A. Both stars have been seen having fun together on set, and seeing how they’re both single, do you think cupid will bring this on-screen pair together in real life? Hmm…I guess we’ll have to wait and see if any arrows fly.

Real life fangs are coming out on the set of the third film installment of Twilight, as a public debate has erupted between Summit Entertainment and Rachelle Lefevre, who was recently re-cast in the popular franchise. Apparently, the actress who had been playing the role of the venomous villain, Victoria, has been let go on account of a 10-day scheduling overlap. According to Rachelle's contract, she is allowed to take part in smaller projects while filming, and fans are furious about the producer’s rash decision to replace her. Taking over the fiery redhead character will be Bryce Dallas Howard (from Spider-Man 3 and M. Night Shyamalan's thriller The Village), who is said to be playing the part throughout remainder of the films. Time will only tell how this bloody mess will end.

Rumor has it that Miley Cyrus has landed herself a new guy…well on-screen that is. Recently the starlet admitted to having a crush on HSM star Zac Efron, and now it looks as if they may soon be having an on-screen romance of their own in the remake of the classic film Gidget. If the statement is true, we’re sure the two will have plenty of fun together in the sun, as Miley takes on the lead character who discovers her passion for surfing and falls for a guy over her summer at the beach. Sound hot? We think so..

Just when we thought something was missing in our collection of Twilight products, Summit Entertainment teamed up with Cristina Bartolucci, the founder and creative director of DuWop Cosmetics, and the product development team of All About Beauty to concoct a Twilight-inspired cosmetics line, Twilight Beauty. Even all you non-Twilight-ers out there can take a bite out of this promotional partnership. The new brand consists of two separate lines, Luna Twilight and Volturi Twilight, which will hit Dillard's and Nordstrom shelves on September 15. While the Luna Twilight collection is composed of First Light Body, Face Glow, and Gleam Metallic Mascara, Volturi Twlight includes a Deity Body Lotion and Immortal Body Shimmer. Would you use makeup from the Twilight-inspired line?

Together with Express, ELLEgirl’s big sister title ELLE threw a big bash for the TXT L8TR campaign on Wednesday. The idea behind the initiative: don’t text and drive at the same time. Living in L.A., Rachel Bilson is always out and about in her car and of course knows about the importance of safe driving. She supported the initiative by showing up in a cute paisley-print tunic paired with patent gray platforms and a cool Express tuxedo blazer. Hit your local mall this weekend for this Rachel Bilson-inspired jacket. Just remember to text your friends about your cool find L8TR.

Jessica Stam is clearly holding the cards in fashion! For fall, she walked major shows like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Dolce & Gabbana, and her face fronts Fendi’s new ad campaigns. We can even see a bit of Stam every time we run down the street as she inspired Marc Jacobs to create the famous quilted and metal strap “Stam” satchel bag in 2005. And soon, Jessica will have an influence on our wardrobes too. For spring 2010, the Canadian-cool girl is designing a couple of pieces together with Rag & Bone pals David Neville and Marcus Wainwright. Rag & Bone’s shrunken blazers and rompers are summer staples, and with Jessica’s signature look being all about leather jackets, slouchy t-shirts, and cut-offs, we can’t wait to see It-girl merge with It-brand.

Chace Crawford stepped out to celebrate the launch of the Blackberry Tour Smartphone at NYC’s Thomson Hotel LES last night. It’s been a busy week for the Gossip Girl
heartthrob: He also joined costars Ed Westwick, Michelle Trachtenberg,
and Jessica Szhor at nightspot Hiro for Taylor Momsen’s 16th birthday
bash Tuesday night, at which she performed with her band Pretty
Reckless. What else is on the horizon for Crawford? The actor will be a
presenter at the 26th annual MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by Russell
Brand. —Erin Clements
If you’re a fan of Gossip Girl, then odds are you have already been sucked into the vortex that is NYC Prep. This new reality show chronicles the lives of a group of privileged Manhattan teenagers with more money and time than they know what to do with. NYC Prep has all the delicious drama of Gossip Girl with some of the cast even resembling the show’s characters (could PC and Jesse be more like Chuck and Blair?). Their single goal in life is to become part of New York’s “elite high-school scene,” which is basically code for popular. What teenager doesn’t crave popularity? The Prep kids are real teenagers dealing with typical teenage problems; they just have much larger allowances than most (because something tells me the average teenager can’t afford to rent out entire restaurants just so their friends can have a place to “hang”). Like all great reality shows, NYC Prep has love triangles, frenemies, and enough drama to keep you tuning in every week. The show is now my official guilty pleasure. But that’s just between me and my DVR. And unlike Gossip Girl and most of the Prep kids, it can keep a secret.

NYC Prep airs on Tuesdays at 9:00 EST on Bravo
Last weekend, ELLEgirl ventured into the Fifth Avenue Diesel store for the NYC launch of Diesel Radio and sat down with the ever-eclectic Zoë Kravitz, 20-year-old daughter of rockstar Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, and her new indie rock band, Elevator Fight. A five-minute chat with the Philadelphia-based band—who describes their sound as "liquid rage"—convinced us that our iPods needed an update, stat. Their songs are an edgy mix of electronic pop and alternative rock, and fans of bands like Rilo Kiley and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will find their next favorite female front singer in Zoë. The band members themselves are just as energetic as their beats. Ask them how they met, and they'll tell you all about, well, an elevator fight. "It was a huge altercation," Dominic Angelella (guitar and vocals) said, describing an all-out band brawl that ensued after lead vocalist Zoe attempted to squeeze through a closing elevator door in a Philly studio. After a detailed play-by-play of punches and a soon-to-be band member’s broken glasses, Zoë responded with, "Well, you'd think they'd hold the doors for me." Whether their tale is true or not, we're glad decided to become friends anyway.
Check out their song “Broken Glass” and the awesome lineup for the Diesel:U:Music tour hitting NYC tomorrow with performances by Cobra Starship, Clipse, the Roots, and more!

Twilight star Robert Pattinson was one of the main
attractions at San Diego’s Comic-Con. The vampire hunk joined costars
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner for a well-attended panel discussion
on upcoming sequel New Moon. Posing in a grunge-chic plaid
flannel button-down layered over jeans and a T-shirt, the handsome
heartthrob looked hardly the geeky fanboy. For a rundown of other
celebs who attended the convention, check out Wonderwall’s gallery. —Erin Clements
