It looks like Joe Jonas isn’t done breakin’ hearts, specifically Taylor Swift’s. It appears that the former sweethearts are now having a public war of words—er, well battle of lyrics to be exact. After Taylor was vocally open about Joe Jonas breaking up with her over a 27-second phone call last year, fans began speculating if her hit song "Forever and Always" was about the couple’s split. Months later, it appears that Joe is firing back in The Jonas Brothers’ latest song “Much Better”, which is off the group’s forthcoming album Lines, Vines and Trying Times. The hurtful lyrics call out Taylor’s 2007 song “Teardrops on my Guitar”—and reference Joe’s new GF Camilla Belle (i.e. “the girl in front of me”). Check out the telltale lyrics below…
I get a rep for breakin' hearts
Now I'm done with superstars
And all the tears on her guitar
I'm not bitter
But now I see
Everything I'd ever need
Is the girl in front of me
She's much better

omigosh, Joe is such an idiot! i can ALMOST forgive him for breaking up with Taylor so suddenly and whatever, but actually referencing her song? that is soooo jerkish!i'm doubly boycotting him now.

wow. i dont think its a big deal if he writes a song about their break up or if she does. they are both artists and they both write songs about what they are feeling. theirs nothing wrong with that. however, i don't think it was right for joe to write that line about being sick of the tear drops on her guitar that was a little much. but other than that i dont think its really a big deal. writing songs is how they get their emotions out.

I guess calling Taylor out is how he's planning on getting attention for his new album

The song is right, though. Joe's not bitter. He's an amazing guy. Just because he broke up with Taylor Swift? Does Taylor think relationships last forever? Well they don't. Taylor falls way too hard. Most of her songs are about break-ups. Just because Joe is like the first famous person she wrote a break-up song about. Well, it is not fair. What's Joe supposed to do? Just sit back, and take all this hate? No. Joe is not a jerk. Taylor said the song "Forever and Always" was written about Joe. She even said it! And, Joe didn't even say it was about Taylor. That's because he's so sweet. And, Taylor was all like, "He broke up with me over the phone. Twenty seven seconds. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda." And, if you guys don't know this. The Jonas Brothers wrote a myspace blog shortly after Taylor said all these things. In the blog, he said that Taylor hung up. And, there she goes telling everyone it was twenty seven seconds. Well, Taylor if you wouldn't have hung up, it would've been longer. And, he didn't even mention her name! Who mentioned the person's name? Taylor or Joe? Who's the jerk? Taylor or Joe? I really love them both, but you guys shouldn't call Joseph a jerk. He is not! Also, at the time he broke up with her, she was in Europe, on tour. What was Joe supposed to do? It was better if he told her on the phone, than in person when she got back. Because, she would've been excited to be back and see him again, just for him to say, "It's over." It would've hurt more that way. And, Joe wasn't going to be stuck in a relationship that he didn't want. You don't call Taylor a jerk for writing break-up songs about billions of guys. But, you call Joe a jerk just for writing ONE song about Taylor. Anyways, I think Joe and Camilla Belle make the cutest couple ever! And, I'm so happy for them. It's weird because they are both my rolemodels. And, it's such a coincidence that they're dating. Anyways, I love Taylor Swift. But, I had to share all that with you. Because, it's true! Peace, Love, and Jonas. <3

Even thou she might have been talking about him (speculations! music is inspired by real life but you never know for sure!), he was a jerk to call her out like that!
