ADAM TOTALLY DESERVED TO WIN!! The only reason why Kris won was because everyone thinks he's so cute. He's not. At all. I think that Adam's hot, even if he's gay. Everyone is so homophobic, which is another reason why he didn't win. Adam was the judges clear fave, and all of his dramatic and theatrical gestures really made the season more fun to watch. Adam's way of singing is amazing.. I will love him forever!! Kris has a really whiny style of singing that reminds me of John Mayer. And I hate John Mayer. But maybe it's better that Kris won. Because without the title, he wouldn't have EVER been famous. Adam was going to be popular either way. In conclusion, I HATE KRIS ALLEN!!

i think they both had a good chance of winning i loved both of them soooo much but i really wished that adam would have won he was better and has great style but kris can sing good and his voice goes with anything while adams goes with certain songs kris is also soo cute and so is adam it was a tight race and i glad kris won he will do good in the future im sure and adam will to.

Kris totally deserved to win. He was much more talented than Adam. He played guitar and piano amazingly and he had a gorgeous voice. Adam was a drama queen and all of his songs were over the top with his makeup and fog and capes. Adam should be performing at a club in Vegas because no one wants to listen to his ugly screaming in their ears through their i pod headphones! Go Kris all the way!

kris is awesome im glad he won. but adam ws reaalally good too idk why he had a very big vote difference thats wrong but its over now and adam will probably still get a contract and everyhting so will kris. it all ends up the way its supposed too

adam deserved to win way more than kris he is such a better singer kris is nothing special but adam is such an amazing singer kris only won because all the young girls voted for him.

but i think that for kris to make it far he had to win this....they are both amazing and express their talent of singing in different ways but to me adam stuck out the most and i was shocked when he came in second

I was shocked that kris won! i thought Adam was going to win but, i didn't want him to. I was glad that he won though. i also think that the competiton is for ametures and adam was definelty not an ameture.

i think that kris won and totally deserved to. this competition is supposed to be about amatures winning a competition, and so far the only people to win have had previous experience singing.

I so agree with the voting comments!!!! My kid tried several times to get her vote in, but Adam's line - along with Allison's- was always busy!! Makes no sense to me how Kris coulda won!! Adam is a definite Class A performer!! He will go so very far in this business!! Adam SO ROCKS!!!

I agree with Kim. Kris did not have that "it" factor at all. Adam could do so much more! He could sing (wonderfully) and he did theater too! Even though I like Kris' laid back style, Adam could be so much more!

I was completely shocked that Adam didn't win. I was in love with him throughout the whole competition and really thought he had it in the bag. Kris is talented and seems like a great guy but just did not have that "it" factor that just naturally emanates from Adam. I think lots of fans that were rooting for Danny Gokey jumped on board with Kris which really boosted his votes and edged him out over Adam, or else the show is rigged, lol.

Heres the deal America, when your an Idol you are contracted with them for a year. Adam can get more exposure being runner up. I'm guessing all the talent agents have already tried to line up meetings with him, he's a smart, talented, hot, amazing, sweet, polite guy and we will be seeing alot of him. And that works for me

I was in love with Adam from the begining, He was my "Wicked boy" since he had starred in Wicked. He was hot and every single time he sang I got goosebumps. But as great as Adam was, Kris progressed very well and he was the all-american boy. Adam entertained us week after week and had a place in my heart since he set foot on stage America will ALWAYS love him and because of that Adam will go on to be the 21st century Elvis. He will be that popular, the next Kelly Clarkson, no. He has grander things to be. On a bigger, wider and international scale. And Kris, he encompasses the best of America with his boy-next-door look. Am I the only one who thinks he kind of looks like Orlando Bloom? Hes cute and Kate and him make SUCH a cute couple. Do I wish he was mine? Kinda but you know Katie can have him, I'll take Adam. Kris is American Idol 2009 and Adam is the next Elvis. Everything is right in the world. THE END

I absolutely Loved Adam! But I also had this dreaded feeling that Kris was going to win. I didn't hate Kris but his style just wasn't similar to mine like Adam's was. So I guess America did choose right. It was just right for them, not me.

I love Kris and while I loved Adam too, I think Kris absolutely deserved to win. The two are completely different, they said themselves that they cannot be compared, Adam is the eccentric rocker with the incredible, but often OTT vocals, while Kris is much more laid back and with a lovely, easy to listen to voice. It really is unfair on Kris that there is so much discussion about him being undeserved - he got the most votes, thats all there is to it, and I was over the moon that he did, I'll be buying his album the minute it comes out.

Kris may sing well, but he is in no way better than adam!!Adam has a better voice, amazing vocal range and can hold a key that kris couldn't even dream about, and besides he is a real artist, he stays true to himself and can adapt the songs to his style, and they come out gorgeous...adam is the real deal and since this is a SINGING competition no doubt he should have won...

As a British AI viewer, I can tell you the support for Adam here in the UK was definitely more than for Kris. Adam's making waves over here- he's going to be a star, and he deserves to be.
Kris can sing, no doubt, but he's in no way a stand out contestant and AI 09 will surely be remembered for Adam.

I was hoping that Adam would win as he was my preference, however, I had a sinking feeling that Kris was going to win mainly because of being a small town boy and probably getting the teeny bopper vote. They were both very talented in their own settings and I really think that Adam will go very far even though he didn't win. What upsets me the most is that they didn't reveal the difference in the amount of votes and that leaves me wondering why. They gave us the vote differences for all other contestants, why not them?????

adam should have won this hands down he has the stronger voice and honestly kris wasnt very intresting to me but hey thats my opinion. When they sand together on the finale adams voice completly took over i didnt even no kris was singing. O well theyll both go far with ther careers and Kris needed the win more to succeced.
