Last night, we joined Charlotte Ronson, Nigel Barker, Agyness Deyn and lots of other stylish celebs at the Humane Society of the United States Cool vs Cruel Awards 2008. The winner of the competition, which challenged students at The Art Institutes to design animal-friendly fashions, was Gohar Rajabzadeh, who created a luxe Fendi-inspired faux-fur wrap coat. “I’m all for supporting new designers,” gushed Deyn, who played guest DJ along with bf Albert Hammond Jr. “I’m a total animal supporter,” Project Runway Season One winner Jay McCarroll told us. “I look at a designer who sells a $10,000 raccoon coat and I just think it’s mean.”—Erin
