Useless factoid of the day: Beyonce (who is clearly richer than you) has a collection of "hairpieces" worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million dollars. The girl is obsessed with them! And I'm pretty sure her real hair hasn't seen the light of day since 2001...if she even has any left.

Beauty has many definitions and expectations. However, I believe that beauty starts on the inside. Inner beauty is the key to outer beauty, and I learned this through my experience at My Beauty Camp.

All of the information and workshops at My Beauty Camp made me stronger both physically and mentally. Every day we learned how to put together a healthy meal and exercised to help our bodies develop a strong core. I also learned about skincare and how my skin needs to be clean and protected from germs—that acne can affect you both outwardly and emotionally. Everything taught was very beneficial and I'm glad I had the opportunity to come to My Beauty Camp.
Milan Fashion Week is making headlines with glamorous spring looks (and not-so-glamorous spills from certain Prada models), but there is one story in particular that caught our attention. We found out that Rihanna, seated front row at the Gucci show, won’t be sitting on the sidelines much longer: the singer revealed that she will be starting her own fashion line. A radio station in Wisconsin has put out a bounty on Joe and Kevin's virginity! They say any girl (or presumably, guy) who can prove they took the V-Card of either Joe or Kevin can walk away with $10,000! Of course, they're calling it the "Jump-a-Jonas" contest. Tacky.

As one of four winners of the Retin-A Micro Pump and ELLEgirl.com contest, I got to go to “My Beauty Camp” in Santa Monica, California. And I had an AWESOME time!
The five days I attended “My Beauty Camp” were filled with fun workshops on health, beauty, and confidence-building topics. Some of the things discussed were money matters, skincare solutions, college preparation, and goal-setting. My favorite topic was make-up versus “fake-up”. Learning how to give myself a facial was fun too!

Dualstar Entertainment Group, the twins’ management firm, has confirmed that the duo will collaborate with Steven Madden Ltd. to create a footwear line under the Elizabeth and James brand. Slated for stores in mid-2009, my only concern is: how much will they cost? While I love Steve Madden shoes (yes, I admitted it), it’s not like the two labels feign the same price point (ie. with the amount of money you spend on an Elizabeth and James tank top you could buy two pairs of shoes). Regardless, I will be on the lookout and, with any luck, not all the shoes will sky-high because, after all, not everyone stands only 5'ft tall (or are they 5’1”?). –Meredith
