For those of you who didn’t tune in
to the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, I have compiled a list of what I believe to be
the best dressed females to hit the red carpet this past Sunday, August 3rd.
These women hit the nail on the head when it came to the summer trends this
year, and looked absolutely fab when it came to matching up these looks with
stylish accessories. Hosting the event was Miley Cyrus who, I must say, could
have done better and thought to look in a mirror before leaving the house.

The best dressed for this star-studded event, I must say, goes to Katherine Mcphee. Her dress was both young and sophisticated at the same time. I love the peacock effect of the fabric and the tool underneath giving it some young flare. The belt is so trendy for summer and the nude shoes allow for all the attention to go towards her outstanding dress.
Lauren Conrad looked fabulous in one of the most trendy style pieces this summer, the Maxi dress. On some, the maxi dress just hangs not giving any shape, but this dress is super flattering on her. The belt and bust line make Lauren look shapely yet still petite. Her blonde summer waves are another perfect touch to her stylish ensemble.
It’s not a surprise that Lo Bosworth would be chic just like pal LC. Her bustier fitted dress encompasses many trends for summer such as mini dress, bright colors, Ikat prints, and the obvious classic summer white.
Kenzie Dalton, fiancé to Chad Michael Murray, looked classic in her white asymmetrical goddess style dress. You can never go wrong with white in summer, and I just think the dress is simple and beautiful.
Last, but not least, I think Kristen Bell did a great job. I think she is totally dressed age appropriate and the combo of nude and the splash of hot pink in her skirt is sophisticated, classy, yet still very fashion forward.
