Tattoos: Classy or Trashy?

Rapper Common, who had the pleasure of working with Angelina Jolie on her latest film, says that she helped break down his perception that tattoos aren't "ladylike." He had insisted that his female assistant not get any tattoos, but, he said, "Angelina still looks like a lady and she's got a lot of tattoos, so I guess my point got broke down..." Ha! Always pushing that envelope, Angie Jo.

briann says: Angelina can make ANYTHING look ladylike, so I'm not surprised she was able to sway Common in favor of ink. She's so pretty that she could pretty much wear lucite heels and it would be elegant. That does not, however, mean it would be elegant on anyone else.

Think of it this way...if somebody (not just a woman) gets a tattoo just to "look cool" and stumbles into a tattoo parlor while they're punch drunk to get something straight out of the book, then it's trashy. If, however, they get it from a reputable artist (like my fiance, haha) after careful consideration, then I believe that tattoos are a beautiful art form.

i think some tatoos are cool, but sometimes big ones are 2 much & can make a female look less classy.

I think that whoever thinks that tatoos arent lady like should just take a look at angelina and they will think otherwise but you should be warned not everybody looks like angelina jolie
