Brooklyn-based band KaiserCartel recorded their debut album, March Forth, in only eight days, but we promise that you'll be listening to this album way longer than that. You'd never guess that the duo (both teachers by day) recorded it in L.A., since the heartachingly twangy indie tunes are like the soundtrack to a breezy afternoon spent on a midwestern prairie. They've got the bittersweet charm of bands like The Fruit Bats, so don't be surprised if you hear a tune or two of theirs featured during a particularly pivotal breakup scene in, say, Gossip Girl this fall.—Rebecca
The band is mid-tour, so check and see if they'll be passing through your town anytime soon.

that is a realy cool music thx)))
