You are the only person who would bother to throw the opening pitch at a baseball game in a Member's Only jacket--and six inch platforms. It's like from the waist up you decided to go with the theme, and then found the idea of actually wearing flats so abhorrent, you caved and went with major heels. Ah, some things never change.
Here's what CelebSpleak's users had to say:
mayjah playa says: Mimi threw out the opening pitch of a baseball game in Japan in this ensemble. And OMG if this were 1998, I would seriously be coveting that jacket. But then again, I would also be coveting a butterfly tattoo and tickets to see N'Sync. So that's not saying much.
rockermama says: Mariah is looking really fit! And I suppose if I worked that hard for my body, I'd want to wear something thigh-skimming as well. However, I'd like to think I'd have to good sense to stay away from skintight denim hot pants. I do have dignity, you know.

Good news for all you fashionistas on a budget: Alexander Wang’s collection for Uniqlo debuted today with prices under the $100 mark and the results are nothing short of stunning. Even though the prices are reduced (I got my dress for $60), Wang maintained his sleek aesthetic with five dresses that are perfect for work or play.

Zac recently did an interview where he opened up about, among other things, his preference for being friends with girls, his love of chick flicks, and his openness about "feelings." None of which will help those pesky gay rumors.
Here's what CelebSpleak users had to say:
hawttie says: Zac recently admitted in an interview that he isn't afraid of showing emotion. He said, "When I'm watching a movie, I'll sometimes shed a tear - especially if it's 'Moulin Rouge'." So obviously, he prefers female company--and lots of singing, dancing, and bright costumes.
zacquishia says: Zac finds it easier to talk to women than men because he feels more open with them. He said, "You can be 'real' with guys, but not really emotional." Lucky for him, the ladies love him right back. I'd let him talk to me about his feelings any day! Hehe.

In a move that is making her older sister Jessica look like the responsible (not to mention mature, smart, and in control of her life) daughter of the family, the performer formerly known as Ashlee Simpson announced that she's legally changed her last name to Wentz, and is now going by the stage name Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

How's that supposed to even fit on a concert flyer? Nevermind that she and Pete also confirmed that they're having a baby (older sis Jessica may love kids, but at least she didn't have one at such a young age!), aren't we in the 21st century, where a lady can keep her own name? Why the need to embrace such an old-fashioned idea of marriage, Ashlee? And while having a hyphenated last name is cool, it's a little odd to make the hyphenated moniker your stage name (and not your real name) and have the shorter version become your legal name. The name Simpson ain't so bad...Even Jessica knew that changing her name and becoming Ms. Lachey would be a bad idea!
What began as an assignment in a short story class at the North Carolina School of the Arts gradually grew into a world of its own; Meagan Brothers' debut novel, Debbie Harry Sings in French, had been in the works for about ten years, and just hit bookstores this week.
While the novel deals with some heavy issues, Brothers didn't set out with any kind of agenda for teens. She simply started writing “what I knew at the time – two kids talking about music.” From there the story grew organically, and Brothers incorporated other subjects and characters to round it out. Debbie Harry Sings in French combines gender identity and sexuality, alcohol and drug use, conflicts with parents, and trouble with peers for a high school experience that's not so formulaic.

If you're anything like me, finding the right pair of jeans is about as difficult as scoring tickets to a Radiohead concert. When I discovered Cheap Monday I thought that I could rest easy: I had finally found the perfect jeans for me. They're skin tight, high waisted and come in a ridiculous amount of washes (unlike most, I'm willing to traverse the wild world of patterned and even acid wash jeans). More importantly, unlike most designer jeans, they're super cheap at around $60 a pop. If you like to experiment with denim without breaking the bank then these are the perfect jeans for you.

Today marked the end of Fleet Week, when the whole city is invaded by SAILORS. Every year the US Navy invades New York City for a week to indulge in some fun. So to show my patriotism, I dressed up in nautical stripes and took a tour of a naval ship to find out what the sailors think about this season’s nautical trend.
“I think the look is cool but I never expected to see people wearing it on the street”
”I think it’s pretty cool for designers to go nautical and put it into regular fashion. They get really creative with it too. I’d wear the look off duty.” Although, climbing up and down ladders was a little more than I had planned, I did get some interesting feedback from our men and women in white. To check out more go to Elle.com

Controversy has erupted over a Dunkin' Donuts commercial starring Rachael Ray in which she's wearing what looks like a keffiyeh--a scarf worn by traditional Arab men that some believe also symbolizes the "murderous Palestinian jihad." In response, Dunkin' Donuts pulled the ad. Here's a screenshot:
Think it's totally offensive? Or are people just being too sensitive?
Here's what a couple of CelebSpleak's users said:
rahja says: I personally did not realize that these scarves were part of traditional Arab clothing. Yasser Arafat popularized the look, so I think it's true there is a connection between the keffiyeh and radical Arab groups. But it's easy to forget that when they're selling the style at Urban Outfitters! I think ppl overreacted.
thatsreallylame: This whole Dunkin' Donuts controversy was started by...who else? Fox News. IDK if anyone would have even noticed otherwise. So, she's wearing a keffiyeh. So what? Do you really think Rachael Ray sympathizes with jihad? Or that the terrorists are looking at this going, "Aha, we have infiltrated their culture. Next step: world domination!" Peeps need to get a life. For real.

Brooke Fraser learned how to play the piano when she was seven years old, began composing songs when she was 12, and started writing for a music magazine when she was 15. Now, at 24, most singer-songwriters would be thrilled releasing their first album, but she's already on her second.
