They've been on the cover of magazines, gigged around the world, and even got Thurston Moore (aka Mr. Sonic Youth) to sign them to his label before they graduated high school; in short, Be Your Own Pet are one of the coolest under-21 bands around. When we heard that they were going to be in New York in anticipation of their sophomore release, Get Awkward, it was a no-brainer: We had to take them to karaoke.
Needless to say, the night was a memorable one--and luckily, we get to share it with you! Check out what went down that night, and watch them sing, dish, and hang with us in a K-Town karaoke joint (seriously cool stuff).
