We hear that Renee Zellweger and Ali Larter's favorite derm in LA, Dr. Harold Lancer, is now giving butt facials to a lot of his clients. He says before a movie or a photo shoot, stars often come in wanting the works--which apparently includes their fannies.
Although butt facials aren't a completely new phenomenon, the reappearance of hot pants and jumpers might be contributing to the recent popularity of them.
While I would love to have a bum that's as smooth as a baby's, I don't know if I like the thought of having my rear massaged in the process. I might stick with a good at-home scrub.
What do you girls think?

i prefer using a homemade scrub than let others touch my bum. i so agree with you rachel as i'd like to keep my private areas "private"

A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated, and masks your skin. Facials are the second most popular spa service after massages to your body. Everyone wants healthy, glowing skin. Pretty much all facials will cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize your skin. Just having a facial should make you feel pampered, and most facials will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed and your skin feeling softer and cleaner. Each facial has been designed to address the source of our skin issues and is scientifically and precisely crafted to both eradicate the problem and prevent future occurrences.

Tell me that's not true. Bikini waxes for 8 yr olds? Thats' ridiculous! Please post a link if you have one. I'd love to read that.

That's wonderful darlings. So I take it you heartily approve of the spas offering bikini waxes for eight year olds also? Never too young to start with proper hygiene, after all.
Also, there were 8,000 breast augs carried out on under 18s in the USA last year (and 110 vaginal rejuvenations, too). Let's see how high we can push that up shall we?

Why should a 15-year-old worry about having "a bum that's as smooth as a baby's?" That's ridiculous.
Aubonpam is right when she says that "your entire purpose is to shame people into buying useless things." But unlike Elle, this magazine targets ADOLESCENTS. Teen girls don't need this garbage thrown at them while they're trying to develop their identities.
It sucks to grow up female in a culture where women are only valued for their bodies. Think about the political implications of what you write.

I think giving the adolescent girls who read your magazine something else to hate about their bodies/waste money to fix is the last thing they need. But your entire purpose is to shame people into buying useless things so I'm not surprised.

I think that this is highly inappropriate for Elle Girl readers.
