Have you girls heard of Robbie Amell? He’s Tinseltown’s newest hottie, and the love interest of True Jackson on Nickelodeon’s fashion-obsessed show of the same name, True Jackson, VP. Recently, we interviewed Robbie, and the former model gave us a behind-the-scenes perspective of life as an actor. He also spilled more than a few juicy details…
ELLEgirl: So, Robbie, which episode of True Jackson, VP, have you enjoyed the most?
Robbie Amell: My favorite episode was when True and I were just beginning to like each other. I had to play her limo driver. At the end of the episode I had to pull a stunt. That was the highlight of the very first episode. It was an all-out brawl, and that part didn’t show on television. I’ve been told that it’s one of the bloopers on the DVD.

Emma Watson exuded sophistication at the recent premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, held in New York City at the Ziegfeld Theatre. The stylish starlet wore a look straight from Proenza Schouler’s Resort 2010 collection. The black leather halter top, fitted white pencil skirt and strappy black stilettos comprised an edgy yet elegant ensemble. Fresh, natural makeup and loose waves completed the look.

Ernest Hemingway made a name for himself in the twentieth century, and now his great-granddaughter, Dree, is the model of the moment.
Just when we were growing tired of the same faces in fashion, Dree stomped into our lives (and onto Givenchy’s fall 2009 runway) and stole our attention. She has the connections (she signed with Elite Model Management), but with her unique look, she doesn’t need them. Her distinctive facial features, smoldering gaze, golden hair, and quirky (but chic) personal style combined with a cool personality are helping her portfolio grow fatter by the minute.
Her styling philosophy is quite simple: “Mainly I wear jeans and a T-shirt, with a crazy shoe—the bigger, the better,” she told the New York Times. “I tried on the most amazing ones at Gucci. They’re huge platforms with straps that go around the ankle. Phenomenal. Having an accent piece is good. That’s basically all I do.”
Hey, good thing the girl likes her Gucci, because she’s set to star in the label’s Fall/Winter 2009 ads. At 21, Dree is rapidly climbing the ranks in the modeling world and is fashion’s newest darling.

Some were skeptical when Lauren Conrad announced that she was writing a book entitled LA Candy, loosely based on her life. Could LC really transition from reality TV to best selling author? Well the answer to that is yes! Conrad’s book has been topping the New York Times Best Seller list, hitting the number one spot two weeks in a row! “If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it,” Conrad told People magazine, “I am so honored that it is now a reality.” Well, reality is what LC does best! Have you read LA Candy? Did you like it? If you haven’t, would you check it out?

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan met on the set of their 2006 film, Step Up, and have been dating ever since, but the dancing duo made it official on Saturday in a 15-minute ceremony that lasted longer than some of their dances! The nuptials were a star-studded event, attended by Haylie Duff, Nick Zano, and Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui. The bride wore a white strapless Reem Acra dress, and Tatum was handsome as always in Giorgio Armani. The ceremony was sealed with a true Hollywood-style smooch when Tatum dipped Dewan over his knee and placed a killer kiss on the starlet. Best of luck to the happy couple!

There’s a new Harry Potter hottie at Hogwarts this year! Freddie Stroma will appear in the newest flick, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, as Cormac McLaggen. Stroma is an up-and-coming British actor with a résumé that includes…underwear model? A video of Stroma dancing in his underwear for an ACNE ad has recently hit the web. Although he won’t be promoting designer boxers in the film, Stroma plays another important role. Emma Watson, as Hermione Granger, is lucky enough to be this dreamy wizard’s love interest. Cormac McLaggen even escorts Hermione to a “Slug Club” Christmas party in the film. We’ll have to watch and see if romance is in the air for these two!

Jessica Harp wowed the crowd at an intimate concert last week in NYC with her funky country flair and downright sassy attitude. The southern beauty used to be one half of the Grammy nominated duo The Wreckers, with her longtime friend Michelle Branch, but now she's debuting her very own solo album A Woman Needs, due out this September. The petite singer kept her wardrobe simple but with a kick, just like her stage persona, performing in a white button-down vest, black tee, dark jeans and killer gold stilettos. She had a five-man band backing her, but the songstress didn't seem to need an ounce of help, belting out songs both old and new about love, break-ups, good times, and even one toe-tapping number that she called her Irish jig. Harp kept the crowd pumped, later convincing a fan to join her in singing the words to her and Michelle’s #1 hit, “Leave the Pieces.” The country darling clearly felt comfortable on stage and even teased those sitting nearby that she was restraining herself from coming over and dancing on their tables! (The funny thing is, judging from her fun-loving persona we can totally see her doing this!). As the night came to a close, she decided to slow things down a bit with the song “Love Letter.” Introducing the song nearly made the singer cry as she explained that the lyrics were about her family. “Why am I getting all emotional?” the singer asked through a cracked voice right before she sang. Clearly this talented songbird has both heart and soul.

Depp has played some pretty wacky roles in his day, but as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s up-coming Alice and Wonderland film, he may just top himself. The film takes place ten years after Alice first fell down the rabbit hole. The more grown-up heroine is now escaping a very public marriage proposal and, without remembering her childhood adventure, again follows a white rabbit to Wonderland. You can count on Burton to add a fantastical twist to the classic tale and Depp has proved he can handle the wild ride. In his role as Willy Wonka in the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Depp played another zany Burton creation. It has yet to be seen what Depp will do with the over-the-top Mad Hatter, but rest assured this will be a tea party we’ll never forget!

It wouldn’t be Fourth of July weekend without Sean “Diddy” Combs’ annual White Party. This year’s affair, held in Beverly Hills, was attended by Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Mariah Carey, and Nick Cannon, among others. R&B singer Cassie proved that LBDs are overrated, wearing an edgy Alexander Wang minidress in the color du jour.
